DESKTOP SETUP / MOBILE EDITING

The Workbench

Set up the room, document cable runs and keep a dated listening log.

System identification

Tell us what you know. Unknown values are allowed. Nothing is marked as a fault just because it's missing.

Listening preferences

Your preferences are not the same thing as your equipment settings. The engine eventually learns from your own listening notes.

Preferences are subjective. Stereo Profiler will not convert your warmth slider into a fabricated numerical sound prediction.

What do you hear?

Connections and cable runs

Signal path, cable construction, length, filters, and custom metadata.

THE COMPONENT COLLECTION

My Equipment

Factory specifications, current settings, photographs, configuration history and custom fields.

Starting specifications are illustrative entries carried over from v02. Add a source in The Connoisseur view when you verify a figure.

My actual equipment

How much detail?

The Connoisseur view exposes equipment-specific gain, impedance, outputs, cable and clearance settings, plus unlimited custom fields. Every other view keeps the same data safe.

◫Personal photographs

Upload a photograph of your own component. The prototype saves a compressed copy in your browser only.

☷Manufacturer documents

Factory manuals, measured reviews, service history and source provenance are planned for the actual knowledge archive.

MEASURE WHAT MATTERS

Measurement Studio

Phone quick checks and external calibrated-mic workflows, linked to your working system.

◉Quick Tune

Live microphone level in dBFS. Relative comparisons only—not an SPL meter or a frequency-response sweep.

♬Calibrated workflow

Connect a supported external mic and preserve the calibration identity. Native sweeps are not implemented in this demo.

▤Import from REW

Archive an exported frequency-response text/CSV file and view the data against your current configuration.

Live input · Quick Tune

Permission is requested only when you press Start, and capturing stops when you leave this page.

Not measuring—
dBFS is digital input level, not calibrated room dB SPL. Automatic gain control and mobile audio processing can distort comparisons even when requested off. Never use this for hearing safety or objective room-response claims.

External mic & REW import

Associate a calibration file or imported measurement with your exact working configuration and listening position.

No calibration file selected. File metadata is recorded; corrections are NOT applied to the live meter.

Recorded measurements

Imported response view

Import REW frequency/amplitude data to view a plot. No simulated measurements are shown.

Response display is visualization only. Calibration, smoothing, channel routing, SPL scale, phase and timing must be verified upstream.

ENGINEERING NOTES

System checks

Choose a source and destination to check line loading, or an amplifier and speaker to estimate level at the seat.

Grounded checks

Change one thing

Compare a candidate in the context of your room, preferences, and actual gear. The reasoning service isn't connected to this prototype.

The production engine will reference published specifications, measured evidence and your specific configuration. It should be perfectly willing to say “buy nothing.”
YOUR SYSTEM THROUGH TIME

Listening Vault

Preserve a full copy of the gear, room, settings, cables, notes, and Showcase at a precise moment.

A locked snapshot never changes when your active system does. Restoring it creates a new editable copy; the archived original remains intact.

Ownership & portability

↓Export JSON

Your full locally saved profile, including photographs and measurement summaries.

↑Import JSON

Import a v03 or v04 JSON backup. v03 records migrate into a separate v04 profile, including locked configurations, photos and cable runs.

⌁Storage disclosure

This demo uses this device's browser storage—not Google Drive sync, login, or a cloud database. Export your backup.
